The Sara Hightower Regional Library is located on 7 1/2 acres in downtown Rome, GA. It was built in 1988 and replaced the much smaller Carnegie Library. The library is a 75,000 sq. ft. structure and houses over 250,000 books, special collections, and audiovisual resources.
