Description

There was a time when milk trucks were on the road before dawn delivering fresh, cold milk right to your door. In most towns the milk was put inside a small metal box with a lid. In smaller communities a key might be left under the mat so the milk man could put the milk right in the fridge.

Boy this brings back old memories! I've been fortunate to have worked in a couple of nostalgic-type businesses at the very end of their existence. One of them was my very first job - at a dairy. They still made home deliveries in glass jars. Nice shot Patricia.
